The Feast of St Francis of Assisi

On Friday 4th October we celebrated the feast of our patron saint - St Francis of Assisi. We marked the occasion by visiting the church for a special mass with Monsignor McIntyre. We were also delighted  to be joined by our friends from nearby Caledonia Primary - who came to visit our school and join us at mass.

The festivities continued throughout the day as our classes displayed the amazing amount of work which they have been doing this term so far.

Primary 5 kicked things off with a fantastic St Francis Day assembly.

Primary 4 showed us their volcano experiment as part of their Roman topic.

Primary 3 displayed their craftsmanship by exhibiting the brilliant Lighthouses which they have designed.

At the end of the children received a special Golden Time treat to celebrate the feast of St Francis and all their hard work.
