Primary 6/5 Basketball at Emirates Arena

On Thursday the Primary 6/5 children took part in the Jump2It Basketball festival. The class had 3 teams entered into the tournament, which seen them compete against other schools in our area. The Red, Blue & Green teams from Primary 6/5 went on to win over 15 games in total. The feat is even more impressive as many of the teams they played against were comprised only of Primary 7 children.

A few of the players commented on how much they enjoyed their experience of playing in the new arena.

Ewan Sanderson stated, "I enjoyed the competition part, playing against local schools."

"It was exciting waiting for your turn to go onto  the court." noted Romi Trog.

Brogan McCallum added, "It was fun when they played a drumroll before announcing the MVP of each match."

Mrs Skinner praised her class for showing great team spirit and was pleased at how everyone encouraged each other.
