Christmas Festivities

At this point in the school term, our thoughts turn to Christmas! At the moment, here are some dates for your diary!

 

Christmas Fundraising

On, Monday, 24 November we will be having a sponsored ‘Christmas Singalong’. All children will be issued with a sponsor form whereby you will be required to guess how many songs we can sings in half an hour. If your guess is correct, you will be entered into a draw and the winning ticket will win a prize.

 

 

Christmas Pantomimes

 

This year, all children will attend a pantomime at the Tron Theatre:

 

P.4-7               Wednesday, 3 December                   Miracle on Parnie Street

P.1-3               Thursday,   4 December                  The Elf By Herself

 

 

More information will follow shortly.

 

Christmas Shows

 

This year’s Christmas shows will take place on Tuesday, 9 December at 1.30pm and 7pm.

Once again, we are very lucky to be using the Church and we would like to thank Mgr. McIntyre and

Fr. Delaney for affording us the use.

 

The Christmas Shows are:

 

P.1-3   Angel Express          

P.4-7   The Magical Christmas Jigsaw

 

Christmas Tree

 

Primary 1 will go to Sandyholm Garden Centre in the Clyde Valley to pick and collect the school Christmas Tree. They might also meet a very special guest, who will be waiting for them when they arrive! A permission slip will be issued this week.

Santa Visit

 

On Tuesday, 16 December Primary 1 will visit Santa at Provan Hall. They will also see ’Frozen’ while they are there.

 

 

Christmas Fayre

 

The Christmas Fayre will be held in the school on Friday, 5 December from 10am – 12 noon. Further communication will be issued from the Parent Council shortly.

 

 

Christmas Lunch

This year, the Christmas Lunch will take place on Friday, 12 December.

 

Christmas Parties

 

This year the Christmas parties will take place as follows:

P.1-3    Wednesday, 17 December

P.4-7    Thursday, 18 December.

 

Both parties will take place in the afternoon and children should come to school dressed in their party clothes.
